Garment programmes almost always use passive UHF inlays on EPC Gen2 chips in India's delicensed 865-867 MHz band. Read range depends on the inlay, tag body and surroundings, but is typically a few metres on an Android handheld and up to around 10-15 metres at a fixed reader — enough to scan sealed cartons or full racks.

Both. We can ship blank apparel inlays for your own converter, or manufacture finished hang tags printed and encoded to your artwork. The RFID label printers we supply (Zebra, TSC, Honeywell) print and encode in one pass, and we also offer polyester labelling and laser marking for brand or luxury lines.

Standard paper or card hang tags are removed at point of sale, so washing is not a concern. For garments that need item-level tracking through their life, we supply washable sewn-in fabric labels engineered to withstand laundering. Tell us the wash cycles and chemistry involved and we will recommend a suitable inlay and encapsulation.

Custom UHF hard tags and labels typically run a 5-10 day turnaround once artwork and specifications are confirmed.
