Planning your RFID conference and attendee tracking deployment
Choosing the right frequency and reader mix is what makes RFID conference and attendee tracking in India dependable at scale. Passive UHF badges read hands-free at typically up to ~10-15 metres at fixed doorways, letting hundreds of delegates flow through main entrances without tapping; HF/NFC badges, read at a few centimetres, suit deliberate session check-ins and cashless catering counters. Most large conferences combine both. A typical build uses gate readers at the main hall entrance, Android handheld readers for roving headcounts and exhibitor lead capture, and a desktop reader at the registration desk to encode each badge on arrival.
You can print and encode PVC badges on-site with RFID label printers that print and encode in a single pass, or issue event wristbands from around Rs 15 per unit for multi-day passes.
